Go👏🏽to👏🏽your👏🏽libraries👏🏽! Remember everything you do at the library is data for them to show that they need more funding to continue supporting the community. Even if you are privileged enough to not “need” the library services, check out a few books a month, log into a computer and place your B&N order even! When they are submitting for funding, this shows people use and need those service and will allow other branches in your network to also receive funding. Love this idea!

I think I'll forever be a library patron, they do SO much for our communities. I used to work at a library, and I learned that they were low-key using the algorithm before insta/Facebook ads. At least for my library they place book orders based on patron requests or based on how many books from a specific author or genre were borrowed.

Glad you discovered the beauty of the library. The Library is for Everyone! Remember if your library doesn't have a book, it is possible they can borrow it from a nearby library.
Book recommendation: S.A. Cosby AA author, great thrillers, lots of action. I recommend starting with Razorblade Tears or Blacktop Wasteland.

Always support your local libraries if you can :) I always check to see if my library has a book that I want and if they don't then I'll go out and buy it. Or even using libby or hoopla and connecting it to your library also helps as well if you're into audiobooks or ebooks!

Now this is my kind of video...LOL!! I use my library faithfully. I visit my library about 4 -6 times a month. I go pick up books so much they know me by name and always tell me I pick the most interesting books. I have two library cards...one for my city/county and a different card for another county over. We can check out an unlimited amount of books and keep them for 3 weeks and renew up to 8 times as long as they're not on hold for anyone else. The other county is the same unlimited amount checked out and can renew up to 20 times. No fees unless the book hasn't been returned in a month. The covers of hardback large print books are sometimes different than the other format of that book.

If your local library doesn't have a great selection check with the library staff to see if the library is part of a consortium. A lot of libraries send books to each other. You will be able to place a reservation for the particular book you want often for no additional cost.

Also I love that you’re fortunate enough to buy most of your books, and my thought process has been getting it at the library or Libby app (in the US), then buying it if I REALLY enjoyed it!

I love using the library! I take my kids there as much as I can too. It’s so important to use them, otherwise we will lose them. I absolutely LOVE how you read outside in nature as much as possible - with a blanket, drink, snacks etc. You’ve inspired me to do the same at some point - if I get an opportunity around my kids! I love my many libraries. I haven't read Harlan Coben books but I was obsessed over the mini series on Netflix based on his book The Stranger. It's so good. It made me want to read his books. I haven't yet, but on the next library trip I will definitely check him out.

The library by me has a book store and a free book cart I get a lot of good books from. The free books are always a pretty decent selection.
