Day 7 | Backpacking Europe | Bucharest, Romania

Caleb and I travelled 400km from Sofia, Bulgaria to Bucharest, Romania on an overnight 8-hour bus ride.
This is Country #3 on the 7th day of our Europe backpacking trip.
We spent our first day here doing 2 free walking tours with BTrip Bucharest: the morning Old Town and Dracula tour; and the evening Communism versus Monarchy tour.
The vibe and atmosphere in the city that day was electric as it was the Euro 2024 match between Romania and Ukraine, with Romania winning 3-0.
I have to say the highlight of the day for us had to be the amazing traditional Romanian food. We absolutely love Sarmale, Papanași and Mici.
