One of the best things about Floor press is that it gets you to really focus on the eccentric. If you do it fast, your elbows will be crying

I do this on Bench Press days.. it really helps and the Tricep activation is insane it's my secret weapon . I caught some ... Sideways glances in the gym like today.. all this information and most of the gym population rather film themselves do the same tired crap and "fit" in... Thanks for the information Brother.

When i trained at home with limited weights I used to do this. Even though the stretch isnt deep, the chest stimulation was GREAT.

Dumbbell floor presses and band mobility work got my shoulders healthy again and ready to barbell bench press. Also try it with a heavy kettlebell.

one of the great things I'm loving about concurrent systems is that I can experiment and rotate variations like these in my programming. I used to be frustrated by all the variations out there because I couldn't ever imagine being able to work them in without hurting progress...now that seems silly

Decided to get a standing desk because you talked about it in your cutting video. Did it DIY with a couple planks and some nails. I bought a cheap anti-fatigue mat and it made a big difference. Before I had feet and knee pains every hour or so, now I can stand all day with minimal discomfort. Worth investing in one.

I agree one armdumbbell floor presses are great. Helps with muscle/ strength imbalances. I prefer this at times over bench presses. Also it helps to tighten up core strength. A floor mat helps for the elbows when pusging thru. Only thing make sure the floor is clean and nobody is near you in case some jerk drops their weights near you. Great advice as always Alpha Sir💪

Just tried it and they are great! Slow eccentric (to save your elbows) pause, and explosive concentric. Great for a third day bench variation!

With the set up of my home gym (no barbell and rack), my main pressing movement is the dumbbell floorpress. Great for the upper pecs and triceps and easy for the shoulders at the same time!
