What about cheap newtonian with long focal length and f ratio like f/8 and more, usually starter telescope i found has a slow f ratio

Like, interesting video. How does a 114 newtonian compare in image quality and resolution to a 102/1000 mm achromat ? Their price is very similar.

Hi Martin,
Fantastic video! I would like to ask for the results without autoguiding. I'm thinking in a new mount because I have a table top (Orion Starblast 4.5) and I enjoy with visual astronomy but in the future I will like to explore Astrophoto. Is it possible to take 2 minuts photos without autoguiding? (I would like to avoid using a laptop)

Can i ask you did you have any focusing problems with your camera i have a sony a6000 mirror less and i can not get it to focus with out a 2x barlow lens.
