Nice video Martin and very well edited. Looks like you have an interesting viewing site next to the ocean and probably a good distance from light pollution. Your videos are enticing me to try a it more deep space photography! I’ll need some more bits and pieces to do that properly - it’s only money, eh!

GREAT Vid Martin! SO glad you are back!! I have the Sky Watcher AZ-GTi and that has the same tripod and extender and I replaced the 3 small thumb screws with set screws and works better but I really like your idea to drill a 2-3 mm hole for a more secure and can't rotate!! Thanks P.S I would like you do mod on the tripod and it's not that sturdy and when you but both hands on it 1 hand on each leg and move your hands left to right & right to left the tripod is not sturdy so a mod would be GREAT to see Martin!

Very helpful and extremely useful mods. As usual you are showing practical solutions. I enjoyed the views of the beach. Man that’s a nice location. I had an issue with my Optolong clip in filter where it would shift in place as the position of the camera changed. I just recently scored an Edmunds Astroscan. That’s going to be fun for the kids at the star parties. I really liked the flow of this video. I think you have a pretty solid system there. I hope you’re right. Hopefully 2021 will be better. It’s not looking too good here in the states. Lots of division. A friend recently gave me an ASI 1600 Cooled Mono. I’m designing a custom scope as a thank you gift. It should end up really awesome. I’m rambling on now. Nice job on the video. I’m still hyper stoked about that easter egg 180mm in your video. Can’t wait for the review.

Happy New year Martin. I've just done your mod to the extension tube. Nearly broke a finderscope last night as it slipped out of the shoe so I drilled the bracket too. I'm using the az5 on a 3/8 stainless steel tripod. Clear skies Vic
