I have a question. So i took mine apart and i found these circular foam parts, look like gaskets im guessing. They were located where you attach the spray arm with the bolt, in that open section when you attach the blade to the arm. Are those supposed to be there?

Actually, the reason I'm replacing mine is the original nylon screw broke. GE doesn't sell just the nylon screw (which has a wide diameter and coarse thread) anymore. They've also changed the hub so that it accepts the smaller #8 screw. So, I had to buy the entire kit WD35X10054 to fix one broken nylon screw. GE discontinued the old individual parts and replaced with a complete kit.

It boggles my mind why GE had to use a nylon screw in the original in the first place. Lacks common sense.
