I updated to plasma 6 as soon as it came out I believe, I really am a fan of it so far, I love the new features.

Finally, the update I had been waiting years for! All the changes are very impressive, and the whole desktop environment seems to have a good upgrade since when I last used KDE Plasma (around 2022 December)!
I switched to GNOME (specifically Fedora Workstation) from KDE due to the lack of proper touchpad gestures, and now that seems to be filled in. Even the workflow overall seems more streamlined and efficient than before.

It seems like the x11 session of plasma is broken as it was not responding when i tapped on touchpad but when i switched to Wayland, everything worked fine

I just installed KDE Neon 6 on an old HP z640 workstation. It is awesome! But, it still has some rough edges. Slack won't login. The shutdown, reboot and logout buttons didn't work for me. I'm still very excited over 6 and am looking forward to it replacing my KDE 5 daily driver.

I wasn't able to turn off or restart and also couldn't use Plank. Looks like I'll have to wait at least for one month to check if all this issues are fixed.

Am I only one who noticed that Vaapi under Wayland doesn't work on Plasma whole does work on Hyprland? I can prove this with screenshot, it's puzzling honestly

Funny how plasma 6 has given me the least amount of issues with dual monitor and scaling. It is only getting started.

You use 125% scaling because I believe your laptop is HiDpi. Have you faced any blur issue on that scale? I am facing it on my Acer Nitro V15. Is there any way to fix it?

As a Plasma user, I feel like Windows 11 has left plasma behind. While plasma 6 was just focused on minute changes.
Windows 11 has proper touch screen support. I've used it and it's no comparison to what plasma offers. Windows 11 UI design actually did change between versions and it changed a lot.

I had installed kde plasma desktop on opensuse man kde is terrible full of bloatware. My mind just blown off.

I think hyprland is future of linux
