can you imagine they use glitter for matt smiths regeneration into peter capaldi because they spent the CGI budget on the anniversary? lol its just gonna be matt smith in the tardis wth clara holding his arms out and moffats hand is seen slightly in the frame sprinkling glitter on matts face then a really bad cut to peter capaldi coughing up glitter.

It saddens me that so many so called Doctor Who fans won't make the effort to look certain things up. Chris Eccleston didn't have anything against Doctor Who - he left because he didn't like how some crewmembers were treated. Also, Moffat doesn't steal anything. Even if the Time War was RTD's creation entirely (as far as I know it isn't) - Moffat and RTD are FRIENDS and they talk about the show even nowadays. Apart from that - with a show that depends on a certain, well basic, continuity you can't just say "you can never use that again, it was a different writer". 50 years people.

Seeing earlier comments, I raise the question, how would we have a show as wonderfully compelling as Doctor Who without being able to revisit the things in the Doctors past? Imagine 900 years of Time and Space, but not recalling ANY of it, wouldn't be so wibbly wobbly then, would it? I love Doctor Who, RTD was amazing but for Moffat to be able to continue some of those epic story lines is a blessing, especially to the fans!
