There was a threshold in fast food wages that favored introduction of robots, but there are plenty of jobs avaliable in that industry. If the strike drags on, no doubt scab labor will appear and violence will erupt. Likely most violent days of organized labor are ahead amidst growing pressure to automate. Who knows if english apeaking illegal migrants show up for work, what reaction there would be crossing the picket line.

Though I feel this strike will cause problems for America (buy your Christmas presents now!), I feel the complacency of many people will allow for robots and corporate greed to take jobs away from humans. If you can’t work, you don’t eat, unless it’s “Soylent Green!” I’m glad someone is raging against the machine!!
