Selling Clothes to Plato's Closet! What Did They Buy & How Much Did I Make!?

After thinking about doing this for months, I finally gathered up some items to drop off at Plato's Closet! I was super curious to see the types of things they would take, and I was happy that they ended up taking a decent amount of clothes!

Yessss! I'm doing a big clear out on my Poshmark closet as well and will be taking some stuff to a BST store at the end of the month too.

I’m a reseller too! What I do is when I’m shopping for inventory at the bins (goodwill outlet) I pick up things to take directly to Plato’s and Clothes Mentor. I almost always make my money back on the trip, which drastically lowers my COG, and it usually ends up being $0-15¢ after.

i love plato's! everything the north face sells super well and for high prices for me EXCEPT for the sweatshirts. if it's the big logo hoodies i'll still pick them up for a couple of dollars, but otherwise i try and pass on TNF sweatshirts. jackets + pants sell super well though! i'm excited for monday's video!

Also I’m sure you know this but make sure you cut off the date tags on the things that have them like AE, Old Navy, Gap, etc. I took stuff back after hearing someone say that and then they took it all the next time 😂

Part time seller here! North face sells same day for me usually! I also have more luck with North Face, Nike, Columbia, Patagonia on Facebook marketplace. Not sure why!

I took stuff to Plato’s today. They only took nine items, out of three bags, and they only paid me $20. What they took were the name brand yoga leggings and bras. So I’m a little pissed. I did try selling them myself, but they are worth so much more $20-40 each piece
