I found was grossly undereducated men who called themselves “preachers” or “pastors” who were chiefly interested in:
1. Making money
2. Gaining popularity
3. Spreading a false gospel

It was quite obvious to me they had very little Biblical knowledge.

MacArthur, on the other hand, has a vast knowledge of the Bible and goes to great pains to explain it so articulately. I can honestly say that he changed the direction of my life. I am forever grateful to find such a wonderful teacher. Therefore, I’ve created this YouTube channel in order to propagate his accurate and thorough Biblical teachings.

Our LORD finishes HIS parable with Abraham telling the torment man that he wouldn’t send Lazarus to warn his brothers because even seeing the dead rise they still would not believe.
With this parable, our LORD is telling the leaders of Israel to their face, they will not believe even when HE is risen!!!

Actually, Jesus does want to save us from those things you listed it's just that the ultimate rescue is from Hell.

Hell means sin sometimes and death other times. God doesn't want to burn you with fire for eternity. The wages of sin is death. Jesus Christ DIED in place of us.
Either way, I trust God 💯 percent and I believe everything he does is fair and just so if I'm wrong so be it because God is perfect.

I don't believe it, but how can I explain to charismatic people the point, have you got a sermon on that.

Their argument is the key Jesus fetched for hell from hell, now why would he burn for 3 days. He was the purest of pure.

As John MacArthur said, “do you know why Jesus came to save you? He came to save you from God”! The wrath of God and the great white judgement that is to come will be a unspeakable. Unending nightmare that will never end. In hell there are no doors to get out.
