Elite genetics and generous PED cycling + insane consistency. He can do this and stay lean, most people could not even get close.

Meal prepping is literally a full time job. Jay has always been one of my favorite bodybuilders.

It’s not often that you see celebrities, top athletes, or folks that do really special shit have such humility. Jay’s humility precedes him, and the world needs more people like him. Hope to meet him one day 🤙

I rember reading what Jay said he ate, daily, while training for Mr. Olympia; ‘chicken, yams, rice, broccoli, some steak…….and 5 pounds of fish.” That always stuck with me. These guys are on an entirely different level.

the real secret to success is always using the full words "carbohydrates" and "repetitions"

Anytime a video starts off with this beat and it's workout related you know you're in for a good one ❤

I know everyone says is all about the gear, but as someone who has been around this stuff for 25 years, I will say that genetics are the most important factor. I've trained harder and for more years than many of these pros but never got close to that. I looked more like a 70s bodybuilder. Sure I never took more than 700 mg per week max, but even if I did, I would NEVER come close. These guys are ELITE genetics.

Sourav is an example of someone who wasn't the most talented, the most technically sound or the most impenetrable, but forged a decent career for himself in both formats by sheer will power and determination. People forget that he sacrificed his no. 3 spot in Tests for Dravid despite scoring two hundreds and 66 in his first 3 tests. He deserves a lot of respect.

As a 6' 3" 220lb bodybuilder I can't even begin to fathom being able to eat that much food in one day !

I remember watching a video by James Vest who talked about diet in bodybuilding. Everybody thinks it's the training and drugs, he said a lot was down to what you eat. To be a pro bodybuilder you have to eat at an industrial scale, something that the vast majority couldn't do.
