I cannot agree more that mentally, emotionally preparing for surgery has a massive effect on the outcome of that surgery. I had a planned surgery last September that I did all the prep Dr. Kaveh recommends and I had a swift recovery. In January I had emergency life saving surgery and I’ve had a terribly slow recovery.

I was diagnosed with invasive cancer 45 yrs ago. I had been under a lot of stress due to an abusive husband for 11 yrs. When I found out there was microinvasion cancer of the blood vessels i immediately started meditation 3 times a day. Following the radical surgery in which 42 pelvic and para-aortic lymph nodes were removed I was told 5 days later by the pathologist that all lymph nodes were clean. He told me it can only be described as a miracle as far as he was concerned. I believe it was due to my meditation and determination to survive for my 3 children. I could not leave them with my husband who was a monster! !

Hi Dr. Your teachings speak volumes to me!! I survived a very abusive childhood and have had multiple health issues in my 63 years. I am recovering from cancer treatments now and waiting for biopsy results. My hair turned gray in my early 20's. I am a lady of great faith and my faith is my best medicine. Life has been crazy for me since I was a child and I am so blessed to know the Lord.

I haven't watched the video yet, I am Deaf and waiting for the auto subtitles to kick in. Genetics caused my cancer (it runs in my family) BUT stress definitely made my cancer worse. I lost my horse to cancer, after years of caring for her and being so stressed about losing her and giving her the best quality of life possible. Then shortly after losing her to cancer, I was diagnosed with cancer. My cancer was growing and spreading at a rapid rate, compared to what it normally does in other people (slow growing cancer). So stress can definitely make existing cancer worse and I believe it can cause cancer too.

3 years after a tragic family event, everyone who had been close to my sibling and all the trauma she endured developed cancer. That was three sisters a brother and both my parents. There is no question in my mind that cancer results from the inflammation of stress.

This was a fascinating podcast! I miss my days of being an OR, ASU and PACU RN. You are doing a huge service to people and I thank you. Despite my nursing history, I always learn something from you. Keep up the great work!

Like some of your videos, but as you know there’s phenomenal events in this weird world. Since the second Covid infection my body doesn’t work like it used to. The doctors here in Germany are more interested in their 30 vacation days. So like you say. My immune system is messed up, but there’re so many doctors who don’t really care.

Lost my 37 year old son to colon cancer. Yes, he was under stress, just returning from a long stay in Asia.

Age 67, I'm 4 years in with a diagnosis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. My last visit to the cancer center I was asked to rate my stress on a scale of 1 to 10. I told the doctor my stress level is zero. Knowledge of what I am facing, and accepting it, were the keys .

I know going part-time and changing my position from being a Supervisor has helped me alot!! Before I went part-time I was feeling burned out. I am so upbeat and extremely positive now that I don't have the same work pressure on me!! I know that has had a positive effect on my immune system.

My dad died of cancer Feb 4th. He had no noticeable symptoms to any of us and he only lived for 3 weeks after we found out. Please pray for us or send good vibes. Everything is so devastating right now. 😢

My sister had throat cancer, she was diagnosed in June 4 years ago and passed away in October the same year. She was always stressed. She had a very abusive husband, he passed away but she never did get over the memories of what she went through.

Well, life is stressful and there's no way to remove stress from living unless you unalive. The principle of entropy is the common cause of disease. Even if you get through life without cancer or major medical crises, no one gets out of life alive. We are born, we live, we die. The body wears out, even if we live a perfect life and make perfect choices and never have stress.

I've made it to 65 without a cancer diagnosis - yet.
I've lived with anxiety and depression all my life. Maybe having dogs has saved my life. That and working out. Low BMI and lots of mental health therapy. But mostly, I come from incredibly tough genetic stock on both sides. I feel, considering I was a smoker/drinker/drug addict from 25 to 40....I'd say good genes was my winning life lottery ticket
