NASA calls on SpaceX to return Starliner astronauts home in 2025

NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams who set off into space on the troubled Boeing Starliner will now return to Earth eight months past schedule in February 2025. Today, NASA announced they will call on Boeing’s rival SpaceX to bring them home. NBC News’ Marissa Parra reports.

Great example when "bean counters" run the show to save schedule instead of letting an Engineering Firm make the critical call of when a product is ready. Seems like Engineering Department needs to be the ones making decisions for hiring managers to pave a path of removing road blockers, not the other way around.
