Remember that rock and roll was once considered the devils music, so Bon Scott being dressed up as a priest with the mischievous look while preaching the genesis of rock and roll and Angus wearing a halo playing in church was just brilliant.

Bon is buried in the Cemetery down the road from me. He was a friend and once worked on a fishing boat out of Fremantle Western Australia with my dad.

One of my favorite AC/DC songs! Bon was the consummate front man. He was 100% showman for sure.

He did, he actually broke his ankle when he landed.

Bon was the definition of charisma for a rock singer

Welcome to the Bon Scott era of ACDC. The lyrics, just like the man who wrote them, are funny, brilliant, cheeky, charming, poetic, and full of life. Angus and Bon were the 2 forces that paved the way for the band to eventually conquer the world.
RIP Bon Scott, fans will be praising your name for years to come.

I once read a comment saying: I would give a kindney just to hear Bon Scot live again.
And another one aswered: Give two and you will meet him in person.

Phil Rudd is one of rock and roll's greatest drummers simply for what he DOESN'T do. He's a perfectly steady time-keeper!

Schmaltz is 1940's music like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
"Tchaikovsky had the news" is a reference to a Chuck Berry song: "Roll over Beethoven, and tell Tchaikovsky the news"

Let give a shout out to the real heart of the band, older brother Malcolm Young. The Riff Master and Time Keeper. You'll notice that even drummer Phil Rudd was always constantly watching Malcolm in order to keep perfect time.

Bon actually broke his ankle when he jumped off that pulpit

Being an aussie growing up in the 70s this is what I listened to along with The Angels, Cold Chisel and the Dyvinals. Over here this is called pub rock cause this is where these guys all started playing in. Many a Saturday night was spent watching pub bands putting out insane rock like this. "Do yourself a favour" ( aussies will know this quote) and look up some aussie 70s pub rock.
