Say what you want about Back in Black making them successful, But these earlier gems are what got them there. Bon Scott built the foundation for their success. RIP THE GREAT BON SCOTT & MALCOLM YOUNG.

Bon is why I have loved AC/DC since my teens. Brian is great, but Bon is AC/DC in my ears.

From the opening "A-1-2-3" to the final note of Whole Lotta Rosie, this album is deliciously raw and relentlessly in your face. There's the amps buzzing, feedback, microphonic squeal, intentionally flubbed notes on Overdose, and pure raw energy throughout. Everything about this album is perfect. It is the epitome of hard rock, the way it should be done. I've been listening to the album for over 40 years and still love it.

This or Powerage is their best LP. Overdose is one of their most overlooked songs. All killer and no filler! R.I.P. Bon & Malcolm

I was in High School, doing a little bit of weight training in the garage with my friend Peter (RIP buddy). A well known radio station played Let there be Rock. That was the day my life changed. I think it was 1978 or 1979. I am 60 years young today. Thank you AC/DC and Bon Scott. I always had a feeling in my gut that i liked a heavier king of music. The " Let there be Rock" album is part of my DNA. Keep on rocking all you Hard Rock and Metal Maniacs

Only one comment. The best of all time. They changed rock and roll. Saw them in 1977 at West Palm Beach. They were the warm up band for T Rex. I didn't even stay to see T Rex I was so blown away. Angus on Bon Scott's shoulders 300 feet out into the crowd. Unreal. I'll never forget it.
