This is so weird - my husband just the other night got a quarter pounder from a mcd’s and it was COLD right out of the drive through window. And it wasn’t like the place wasn’t busy - you would expect when they are busy the odds of getting fresh food is much greater. He took one bite and trashed it. I’m gonna guess somebody at corporate came up with some idiotic process to “speed up” service and it involves pre-cooking and letting the food sit, or some other process allowing food poisoning to become a possibility. ps we aren’t in one of the states named in the e coli outbreak.
