hello thank you for this it video has solved one problem for me but now im faced with another, after moving the expansions folder to the correct location and editing the json file the expansions are showing up but then when i try to load them i get the message "expansion is not installed please download from nexus cloud" it wont play and theres no sound help please :)

Come here to refresh my brain coz I had to reinstall after changing computer, I’ve used this method a couple of times before BUT this time it wasn’t showing up with anything 😞 anyway I was using the pathway of the nexus 3 folder but that doesn’t go deep enough into the file if you go into the nexus 3 folder and “get info” on the PRESETS bit and copy that pathway instead it adds the extra part onto the path 😂 I don’t know why I always forget how to sort these libraries out it’s one of them tricky ones so even tho your video didn’t help me personally finalise the process you still helped me and just refreshed me on what I was doing coz it’s been a minute since I had to do this kinda stuff so thankyou 👏🏼

Can I move the library to an external drive as well or will it only work with MAC HDD drive?

For some reason this never worked for me but with trial and error, I put the library folder in /Users/Shared/reFX/User Content/nexus/User presets/ nothing happened. But, I then set the path to /Users/Shared/reFX/User Content/nexus/User presets/reFX Nexus 4 Soundbank (Factory + ROM Extension 3 & 4)", and it worke. I hope this helps!
