The upgrades are nice but I don't use my X3 enough right now to justify the upgrade. The X3 is still a great camera and the quality is good enough for me. I can wait another 2 years for the X5.

At 01:07 on the X3 footage one can clearly see a ghosting of the Rob's cap. Is it an X3 only feature or X4 also has it? What would be the reason for this ghosting? Is it because it's 360 camera?

Sir i newly purchased x3.this device provide 4 k 5 k 30 fps resolution.but i am using 1080 p resolution mobile.also no 4 k resolution in this mobile.so suppose i have shoot x3 in 5.7 k 30 fps.so any effect of quality.

Why aren’t my images being saved to my iPhone album as 360 images after I chose export as 360? It’s just flat images doesn’t save with that 360 symbol and FB doesn’t support 360 images no more ?

Problem is that weight keeps increasing and is now almost twice what it was for the first iteration (so is the price). 204g at the end of a selfie stick feels like a lot for action purpose when skiing and stuff like that.

My friend let me have he X3 for $220 it’s worth it to buy the X3 instead X4 with the price tag $499 plus tax. This my first 360 camera. Please advise. Thank you

For me, the X4 does give better overall quality in the new 8k mode, but at least on YouTube the resolution difference can be hard to see. Colour rendering and dynamic range are the more noticeable differences in real world shots. Upgrading from the X3 is a tough decision! I may wait until I drop mine... Anyway thanks for a thought provoking video.

Just the 9 months of testing, just shows the value insta360 place on your skills / videos. X4, want; need, save but then there is the DJI mini 4 pro😂 Great video Rob

I say with good lighting conditions, X3 produces very good image quality almost identical to X4.
