This legitimately helped me. My phone died while I was working on my car and as I plugged it in, the firmware update message came onto the screen but would not load. I tried holding the power button to no avail until I saw this video and learned I had to press the volume button, too. Thank you so much

Thank you! I woke up this morning to that update showing up on my LG stylo 6 phone after I removed my phone from the charger. Had to hold down both of the volume buttons and the power button at the same time for about 7 seconds and it worked! The screen turned off and I was able to turn it on regularly.

The same thing happened to me a couple times, just now when it happened for the third time I found this video on youtube and it fixed the problem. Thanks Man!!! Wasn't sure if it was malware or not but glad to see I can get rid of that screen and I don't need to reset my phone or anything to get rid of unwanted software.
