today I show you how to update firmware on the LG OLED 240hz gaming Monitors. Both LG 27GR95QE & 45GR95QE will follow this guide. Here we see step by step on how and what to do before and after the update.

From new desktop onscreen conteols to picture window changes. This new Update allows you to control your monitors menu at a click of a button all while keeping them up to date.

I just got this monitor today and it has the latest firmware! Plus the remote has the battery inside it so i dont have to buy a seperate one. Good job on customer experience LG!

Cheers mate your useful comments about the updating getting stuck at 50% / 87% and occasional flickering being normal put me at ease. Going through the update now and look forward to getting rid of that 4k 120hz bug, which I thought was a glitch in games as opposed to the monitor.

According to Tim from monitors unboxed, the most brightness improvement you'll notice is in the gamer 2 preset. He also said that color accuracy is severely affected in gamer 2 preset. Honestly I don't give a shit about color accuracy as much as I do with peak brightness and contrast.

I noticed another On Screen Control That is not the Red color one. Its more of a Black & White GUI. Is there a video you have or articles for its use? That new firmware by the way is great. I'm using the 45 inch monitor for Flight Simulators, Xplane pops now. Thank You.

Do I have to Reset it afterwards in: General -> Reset to Initial Settings?
Or Picture Adjust -> Picture Reset?

How much is the input lag now after the latest update ? also does setting the DAS mode ON or OFF effect with Input Lag ms ? how are the flashy frames scenes look now in street fighter alpha 3, is it more brighter ?

Hello, did they fix the ghosting/ overshoot now or not? All others using lgs panel dont have that problem its a shame for lg.
