As a person who has been a console gamer all my life, I recently got a pc and it’s leagues better than my consoles were.

i used to be a console gamer, and i switched to pc about a year ago. it’s so much better in many different ways, including being able to do school work on it. it just performs so much better and if you like the feel of a controller better you can just connect a controller to the pc.

Honestly, u can play on a good phone and still get some decent fps.

Okay so let's break this down, it will always be true that pcs are more or if not as affordable as a console due to multiple reasons. First of all as of current a ps5 (which does seem to be the industry leader for the new generation of consoles) is £480 or $550 and already you could find multiple affordable pc builds for this price point to run all the latest games for this generation but oh wait you also have to pay around £60/$60 a year for online play and from my experience that's roughly for around 4 years so let's add $60 X 4 + $550 which brings our pc budget to $790 and already you can get a pc that is far better than the ps5/Xbox series X with higher frame rates, better raytracing and more control over your graphical settings.

Now let's also factor in the wide variety of game sellers like steam, epic, key sellers e.t.c giving you not only free games like steam and epic often do without a subscription service but with more competition in the market that also leads to more sales with savings up to 80-90% on AAA releases multiple times a year but oh wait console doesn't get these benefits due to Sony, Xbox and Nintendo having complete control over how much you pay for games if you didn't get a disk drive.

There's also the fact that pcs aren't limited to just games and allowing people to work or do other tasks such as *Y O U R* content creation, browsing the web and having access to third party software which also includes more games to play that you can't get on console.

Since I already feel like I've proved my point I'm going to fire off a few extra pc bonuses such as, better vr support, multiple monitor support, support for multiple peripheral options, easier repair and maintenance, ability to play last gen games without paying for a new console, better cooling options, longer use time, make less noise e.t.c

To answer yes I am fully aware of how this short was made to bait anger to boost engagement but we both know your wrong here so maybe try a different topic next time

Who spends thousands of dollars to buy a Pc you can build one for like 900 dollars that better then the ps5.

I think I can have a good opinion on this as I own a switch, both a ps5 and a series x, and a pc. pc is the better choice for gaming when you have the money to get a good build. but when you have consoles like the series x that has a GPU equivalent to a 3070 ti for 500 hundred dollars it’s difficult to recommend casual gamers to buy a pc when you can buy an Xbox that has amazing stats but is limited by console os which they probably won’t care about.

Nintendo are not about graphics they just want to make the whole family/everyone to enjoy their AMAZING games (my personal favourite is Zelda botw) for an affordable price. Basically, it’s targeted at casual people who want to have fun/have fun with their families

Gaming wise u have more free affordable game options vs console ... pc gaming isn't for everyone ... it's a hobby tbf

i would have to disagree as pc gaming is way more customisable, for example if you want to play sim racing you can or if you want to play competitive game like csgo you can play on low settings and 360fps or if you are playing a more relaxed game you can crank up the detail. Also the amount of games you can play on pc is way more than any other platform and also with more and more games being way more compatible with pc's and there ports being less of an afterthought you find that pc gaming is just a better experience overall. However for the price consoles are very good as they allow people to just start playing games with little effort and they are also far superior when it comes to people sitting on a sofa in there living room just playing some games.

Yes let me walk onto Best Buy and buy a ps5 for retail price…. Yea right. I tried to and then it was easier to get a pc

id dispute most of this video
-PC in many ways is far cheapter, game price is lower (plus we have both gamepass, humble bundle, free epic and GOG games, plus you don't have to pay for 20 year old roms, not even including great and quality free games or mods like ashes 2063, pokemon uranium, ASMR2, and so many more).
Or how you can still use any old controller, try using a PS4 controller for PS5 games, much less xbox or switch games without expensive adapters.

-also, it seems current gen is going back to 30fps (with no other option), so "smooth" is not really true, even next to PCs that are weaker on paper to the current gen systems, due to the flexibility of PC.
