#Short Tips #1 – Duplicolor Metalcast Paints – When trying to recreate something like the Hot Wheels Spectraflame paints with a rattlecan, I really like using these paints. The results over a highly polished casting are fantastic…and if you can’t get that high polish, they have a basecoat that yields great results. I'm currently painting a guitar with the orange. I used the base coat, and it turned out pretty well, but I did notice I really needed to keep the coats light.

That's my favorite paint. I have only tried with the silver basecoat never over polished metal(maybe next time). I have all of the colors. A 1k clear on top and I'm good to go. 😃👍👍🤙

I got the blue and every time if sprayed it on a polished car it just runs off like it’s water… wtf am I doing wrong 🤣😭
