Thank you for how clearly you explained this. Going to need to watch the knot tying several times!

I've spent so much money on fancy tents over the years. Now I just sleep under a cheap tarp. Had a nice tarp, but I was too worried about having a fire nearby put a hole in it. But it's a much larger tarp. If I'm going to lay down and not get soaked, I use a 9x12. Or something about that size. Enough room for the wife, dogs, gear, and even a small fire on the inside if it's really raining.

Good, quick, no bs info. Like it. My only recommendation is looking up at the trees canopy before attaching to them. They dont call falling dead branches widowmakers for nothing.

Prussik knot is a must know knot. Climbing. Going up my sailboat mast. Roofing a steep roof. Two of them a rope is a ladder. Fall protection. Now a shelter. Thanks

I've spent the night through a flash torrential downpour, against a large tree, sitting up, inside of a heavy weight 55 gallon yard waste trash bag. Tucked the side of the bag that was against the tree down under my ass, and the side in front of me tucked under my feet enough to come back up the heels of my boots, in order to allow any running water to clear under me and not pool against the bag. Kept enough of the bag untucked on both sides of me to allow fresh air to flow.

THAT was the fastest shelter I've ever made!

You only need one tree for a plow point tarp setup. That seems even easier than the lean to.

If you cannot spell, "paracord, " you should not post videos about paracord. Good grief.
