Cholula isn't spicy, but it has a nice flavour. It goes well with many foods.

I am a hot-head with a decent size hot sauce collection. Cholula is always going to be my go-to for homemade tacos and the like.

Original Cholula is not very hot to me either but it's literally a matter of taste. Some people want a little heat not something that'l make them pass out. It's also not flavorless. I don't particularly like it's flavor but some people do.

What's wrong with a mild hot sauce? I keep it next to my hotter hot sauces. They all have a place. Depends on what you're cooking.

I disagree, I was happy to see the first ingredient was not vinegar and it was apple vinegar, HUGE difference. Especially to those hot sauce lovers that pride themselves on not preferring vinegar in hot sauce at all.

They have a chili lime one that goes great in guacamole. Just add a basic habanero hot sauce for some heat.

I like the green Cholula it’s hotter but still isn’t really that spicy at all but the flavor is better more complex

I agree with Ed here. I especially hate when something claims to have some crazy pepper in it, but when you read the ingredients it only has paprika. Gets me every time!

I don’t know anyone who picks cholula for food because they think it’s hot. I like it specifically when I want the mildest heat possible. I honestly wouldn’t be against calling it something like taco sauce instead, but I know some people like it on eggs and then maybe people wouldn’t use it for that…

Anyway! I don’t really agree on the flavour review. Yeah it is salty but I wouldn’t even say that’s the primary flavour profile. It’s a nice hyper mild and accessible sauce that works well on cheap Mexican food. It has its place.

I don't have a high spice tolerance, but even I agree that the predominant flavor in Cholula is salt. By the time you put enough on the food to get some heat, the food is going to be way too salty.

I like warm and flavor, got over the stupid lets get it so hot you cant eat it routine. Deffinatly on the refined hot sauce lovers table.

Out of all the table sauces out there Sriracha is the best
