As much as I advocate for climate change education, I don't think telling people that their city will feel like Los Angeles will have the intended effect. You do realize people move to LA for the weather right?

Lets head over to the comments section to see what the facebook-browsing, tabloid reading experts think

Really disappointed he didn’t mention the major negative impact modern agriculture has on the environment

I think if they go about it as save humanity and not save the planet we'd have more success. The planet was on fire before freezing over and even had a chunk knocked right outta it tilting it... it'll be fine. As for us humans on the other hand.

Sounds like a super useful tool! Shame there's no link for people to try it out themselves. Like a text description of a famous painting. You didn't think maybe showing instead of just telling would be better?

It is simpler to say an Environmental Shift is happening now. People can relate to forests and parks disappearing with some places noticing the four seasons appear to have rolled into one.

Wonder if anyone will use this map to plan their next move instead.

Like "I want to live somewhere with year-round California sunshine but without paying Californian housing prices."

How do you feel about the evidence put forward in the book State of Fear by Michael Crichton ?

I'll be back in twenty years to give my comment... I should have a definitive opinion by then and will compare this map with actual conditions. Hopefully you'll understand.

This video is extremely sad to me.
So much effort put into explaining simple concepts to idiots.

Living in South Africa... I have been feeling the effects since 2018... now in 2019 it is not debatable that the worst is coming...

Very interesting... But one thing I would have liked to see factored in would have been rising seas.

It would also be interesting to see how the climates of subtropical humid locations like Memphis or Tallahassee (shown here as examples of the future climates of places like New York or Chicago) will themselves change in the next 50 years. Cancún and Brasilia, maybe?

Oh boy. I can’t wait for graduates of YouTube university to spew fossil fuel propaganda talking points. Cus you know, clearly they know better.

That scientist looked like he wanted to continue on with the false news topic, but either the interviewer cut through that or they edited some ‘interesting’ stuff in the final cut.

If I was in Russia, I'd be working on cranking out as many fossil fuels as possible... Imagine growing wheat in Siberia.

I really hate how he says temperature as "temperture" instead of "temprature"
