Is climate change real – and are humans causing it? Myths about climate change are more pervasive than ever, which is why we’ve made this video to separate fact from fiction around one of the most important topics of our time. Join us as we explain why global warming isn’t a hoax, why humans – not the sun – are responsible for climate change, and why it’s neither too late nor too expensive to solve the climate crisis. Here are your top 10 climate change myths debunked.

Carbon is not the cause of warming. CO2 level rises tend to follow warming trends, not precede them.

And the wealthy Oligarchs of the world, politicians, and climate activists are busy flying all over the world more than ever! Climate crisis is about the rich benefiting and the poor suffering, and the gab between gets ever greater.

wait...the sea is rising? Did anyone tell the rich people who keep buying seaside properties?

I live on Naracansant Bay in RI. I have lived here since 1975 and I haven't seen the water rise one inch in the 48 years I've lived here still waiting for my hose to be underwater!. Climate change is fiction I know I live it!

"Super" graphics! I would be curious if you could clarify how and where these temperatures mentioned in the graphs were measured. Considering that the accurate and precise measurement of temperatures can be more or less influenced as follows:
1. Location of the measuring equipment sensor. (sun, shade, air currents, humidity, etc.)
2. Measuring accuracy of the equipment.
3. Measuring accuracy of the equipment.
And if we are discussing an average temperature at the planetary level, I am curious how the mapping of the measurements was done on the entire surface of the planet. Where were the measuring points located? (urban, rural areas, without inhabited areas, hills, mountains, valleys, etc.). The location is of crucial importance due to the variations in the zonal microclimate.
What was the number of measurement points at the planetary level and what is the distribution of these points. All these are also of major importance when we discuss average temperatures.
Certainly the measuring equipment is extremely diverse with various calibrations and differences in measurement accuracy and precision. Were these variables taken into account in determining average temperatures?
We have to take into account that the digital thermometer was invented in 1973. And it took a few years before it reached good measurement accuracy.
Taking into account the fact that the measurements in the graph cover an interval of over 30 years, we can be sure that the measurement in a certain location was made with several types of instruments during the interval. This means different measurement technologies and clearly a poor reproducibility of the measurements.
All the mentioned and many other factors clearly tell us that this value of 0.8°C at the planetary level is just a circulated illusion and not a relevant measurement.
It is advisable to study the theory of measurements in which the source and causes of measurement errors are clearly explained.

The initial graphs you show are incorrect. The 1930’s and into the 40’s were much warmer. These warmer temperatures have been manipulated out by cooking them.
The Roman and medieval warm periods (which weren’t just regional) were much warmer.
Watch a few videos by Tony Heller. He provides easily available evidence of warmer temperatures in the last 140 years along with more heatwaves, forrest fires, droughts, floods and hurricanes. Climate related deaths are also vastly down during the last 100 years.

The Greenland ice core samples show that the late 1800’s (little ice age) was the coolest period in the last ten thousand years. And that eight thousand years ago the temperature was 2c higher.

A few facts. None of this is speculative or controversial
—It's been known in physics for well over a century that CO2 absorbs and re-radiates infrared, AKA heat
—With no CO2, Earth's average temperature would be ~0 F instead of ~61 F.
—Industry raised CO2 to 150% of what has been the normal high for a million years… As CO2 rises so does temperature.
—When heat energy is added to a fluid system it becomes more active.

—A warmer, more active atmosphere means more extreme weather.
—A warmer atmosphere increases evaporation making droughts worse faster with more crop failures and fires.
—A warmer atmosphere holds more water vapor. 7% more per 1 C. This makes precipitation more intense. This produces more and worse flooding. Water vapor is also a GHG.
—A warmer atmosphere melts more ice. The heat plus the melt expand the volume of the ocean.

—Less white ice reveals more blue ocean which absorbs more heat.
—Melting permafrost releases more methane which is a far more potent GHG than CO2.
—Because of geography, the Arctic is warming much faster than the Earth as a whole. This changes the Jet Stream to larger, deeper waves which makes warm, high-pressure and cool, low-pressure areas more extreme producing more extreme weather.
—Warmer oceans means more energy is available to tropical storms.

These are just some of the basic changes to climate and weather. Beyond this is how it affects agriculture and all living things that can’t adapt fast enough to this rapid change.

Globalist: "We must stop human caused climate change at the source!"
People: "You mean reduce the amount of humans?"
Globalist: "Of course not! Well, actually, yes."

Wild fires wouldn't be a problem if there was better land management and fewer arsonists.

Funny, it wouldn't show the number of "dislikes" and only show 181 "likes". Data censorship?

Seems legit.
y axis is in 1/10ths of a degree change.
X axis is almost 200 years
Data sets assembled from notes of disconnected teams in different times and places, using different measurement methods and equipment.
I have zero questions.

The video points out that weather is short term changes, where as climate change is (praraphrased) changes in temperature and conditions over a longer period of time. Then the video goes on to use recent - in terms of the earth's age - increases in temperature as proof of climate change. A thousand years is equivalent to a blink of the eye in that history.

NOAH and NASA both admit to altering their data. The have cooled the past and warmed the contemporary period. We don’t even have reliable global data going back to the 1800’s. Modern climate fear mongers have erased multiple warm historical warm periods. An independent study of temperature recording stations all over the world showed most of them to be near artificial heat sources and the adjustments NASA and NOAH have used to account for this have been shown to be inadequate. For example, giving a temp station that’s next to a heat vent only a 4 degree reduction when the temps coming from the heat vent have been found to average 15 degrees above actual temp. When they controlled for all this and only looked at temperature stations that aren’t in artificial heat islands they found average temps are cooling. Don’t be like flat earthers and just reject anything that goes against your state sanctioned false data religion.

The curve flattens after like 300ppm so you have to add way way more ppm to get said prediction than you did back during 300ppm. So glad people are catching on that weather is not your fault

The sad thing about climate change, is that we're teaching people the wrong ways to deal with :( (cricket food, reduced means of transportation, not taking the plane while politicians are burning a ton of fuel, freezing yourself to death, blocking streets).

Also, there's land and sea pollution which many people forget. Actual materials thrown in nature is directly impacting the environment.

I'd also like to add that most countries can't even afford to think about climate change, dealing with economical crisis, war and problems that humans have direct control over its consequences.

Any chance you could point out the study that claims that 98% of scientists say climate change is man made?

As a graphics technician, I can see why my colleagues laugh. The X and Y axis values and the scaling put me at ease about the climate - not alarm me. Tomorrow will be another day of calibrating instruments...
