We do family read aloud also. My 17yo seems to appreciate it the most. She snuggles up to me ❤️.

The Peregrin's journey looks so good - we live near a wildlife reserve for birds of prey and get to see lots of them on a daily basis. Bald eagles, hawks, peregrine falcons, you name it. We live right by the river so they like to perch in our trees. We love learning about them.

Hana! I just had an idea - I'd love to see your process for finding new books for your unit studies. You always have such amazing books and I'd like to see your process for how you find them all. :)

You provide amazing tools for parents! Have you considered sharing Spanish learning tools as well?
We would love to partner with you! ❤️

That is SO incredibly thoughtful for your son to offer to teach! What an amazing foundation you've given him. I would love to hear your thoughts on how your teaching methods have aided your now graduated student through his college education. There aren't many who have your homeschool style and I am completely intrigued!

Hi, I've been trying to find Fun Kids - Electricity - Learn How Motor Works! online but I can't find it. Can you show the product in another video or respond to the comment with a photo of the box? Thanks!

We love the illustrated editions of Harry Potter! We don’t have the goblet of fire yet will have to get it! I like to read the to my 11 year old daughter! We’re also a big Harry Potter family!

Hanna i always look to your videos for inspiration. But how do you do grammar and phonics. On a different note, i think a review of the road map to literacy books would be great. I am kind of interested but I do not wanna make that big purchase because I can't see what the book is all about and how it looks inside.

Dear Hana! Thank you for your great job, it' s really useful for us as we diceded to homeschool. I have a question about celebrating the first school day. All students go to school, and homeschoolers feel upset and stay at home

We used the roadmap to literacy for 1-3, my oldest daughter is almost 10, was thinking hard if I should purchase the expensive “continuing the journey “ would you suggest using it, along with the Live Ed curriculum?? We are just starting their four to grade curriculum.
Thank you 🙏🏻for all your posts and videos

I wonder, and I hope you don’t mind this question, but it seems the emphasis of your materials/main lesson blocks has shifted since you started teaching your daughter more formally. I know you have 3 older sons and I wondered, is the shift intentional? Did you want to teach your daughter with different emphasis/different materials than your sons? I just started teaching my eldest son whereas up to this point I have been only teaching my 2 oldest daughters and already I have noticed my lesson planning has shifted some towards accommodating him and what I want him to have as part of his education at this age which seems somewhat different than his sisters at the same age. I wonder if you could do a video discussing the differences between teaching your sons and your daughter so far and maybe (again if you don’t mind) share why you changed up your materials and focuses for your daughter and if it is because she’s a girl, or just because she is your last student?

Hana, are these main lesson bl9cks/units that you're creating yourself or are you using a curriculum to guide your topics? I think my issue is chronological timing and im curious as to how you're showing a timeline of sorts vs. a smattering of time periods. I hope my question makes sense.

Love your book selections and projects, and I apologize if this comment seems negative, but I do believe that if we teach kids about controversial things like Iditorod, we should tell the truth. Considering that in many years less than half the dogs reach the finish line, the other side of Iditorod should also be explained. I apologize and do not wish to be negative. Just my two cents.
