I am starting to home school. Wanted to start teaching them the Bible. What are some books you would recommend. I watch your hauls and enjoy them. Have a kindergarten and a 2 year old.

Wonderful books. I stumbled on Lost & Found Journal of a Miner 49er ~ Jack Dublin. He refined it but supposedly they are real stories found in a cave...there's a neat disclaimer explaining the circumstantial evidence etc. It's suprisingly Christian in it's messages, even though some is silly fun using things like mermaids to drive Biblical messages home for kids studying WWE/ the Gold Rush.

I have been realizing most of the media and entertainment I grew up with were very occultic and unhealthy. As a Christian it's been an adventure finding resources.

I've been struggling to find other homeschoolers to just chat with (beyond random people on YouTube) lol ... Sadly groups in my area so far seem to be too different and extreme (like signing a document about agreeing with their odd beliefs...) And /or people that want dues. Even though right now all I need is socialization for my child and I. 😢 My kid luckily still gets socialization! 🙂 But I'd love to find adults I can relate to in a general homeschooling sense and chat with!
