Section 484 is a transitional provision which provides for survival of earlier actions done in earlier CrPC in this CrPC1973. That's reason it's called Repeal and Saving. It's very important section to carry forward of all actions under earlier existing laws to new laws. All Acts which are superseding old laws carry this provision else old matters can not be taken in new laws.
