I think Josh Shapiro is fabulous, but I do not think any Democratic governor of a major state should be selected as VP for Kamala Harris’ campaign for president. Kamala Harris is going to win this election and I think she will need her Democratic governors in major American states as allies throughout her administration. I also do not think she should pull from any sitting incumbent Democratic Congress person. I think all of our incumbent Democrats should be reelected to the Senator of the house and any new Democratic candidates for Congress must be elected. Once heavily vetted, we do not want another Joe Manchin or Kristen Sinewa, both said they were Democrats, but they voted with Republicans throughout their years in Congress. Both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have listed a number of legislative efforts we must make in order to codify, reproductive rights, voters, rights, LGBT rights, paid family leave, gun control, etc, etc, … none of those will be qualified, unless we have majorities, and I mean, Democratic majority in both houses of Congress. so we do not need to remove an existent congressperson to run through VP. I love Pete.B and I’m asking the Harris campaign to consider former congressman Joe Kennedy. III of Massachusetts.. Joe was a congressman until 2021 when he ran for a Democratic seat of a Democrat In Congress, who had been there 43 years. he lost that race and I think currently diplomatic placement in northern Ireland. However, I went to Wikipedia page and it is incredible. of course he’s part of the Kennedy family and it’s a great grandson of Robert Kennedy, he graduated Stanford university, and attended Harvard law school. He was a member of the peace corp and speak Spanish fluently. his work and climate change and assisting those families facing poverty is genuine and has been effective. He is also been an assistant district attorney.. there are many parallels to his interest in those VP Kamala Harris. I hope her team would call Joe Kennedy and fed him for consideration.
