Smooth Jazz Bass Solo!

Once again I feel like a fish out of water when I try to play a bass solo. I won't tell you how many takes I had to take to get an acceptable solo . All I can say that way too many takes, way too many. The bass I played is Fender American Elite Jazz Bass V.

One of the best bass solos I've ever heard. No rushing to fill every space with notes, no unnecessary speed, just a bassist LISTENING to what the rhythm is doing, and the chord movement, and trying (successfully) to embellish the package with well chosen notes, and creating atmosphere and ambience in so doing. Well done, brother.
