I'm saved!!! My paper two is on thursday, and your other videos helped me tremendously to prepare for paper 1 last week. Thank you so much for your uploads!

A tip that helps me in paper 1 and paper 2 is to focus on section B first . I found that when I tackle section A first I get lost with time management and then stress about not having as much time as I hoped for for the second part of the exam, that offers 25 points in total. I end up stressing.

Ma'am, can you please tell what do you mean when you said that we can even invent statistics that support our argument' 16:08 ? Like, really? We can do that? Invent some numerical data in our mind at the spot(e.g. screen time of toddlers in UK increased by 20% in 2020 due to pandemic)??

Hello. Can you make a video of how you would plan or build up content for question 1a? Planning tips for section b would also be much appreciated.

In the question that asks for a descriptive piece, can a student interpret the topic how they wish to, or must they be literal? For instance, if the topic is 'The Storm', does a student necessarily need to write about a storm in its literal sense, or can it be an inner conflict, or an intense argument that is written about (a metaphorical interpretation of the topic)?

Hi! Apart from giving the writing formats, their specific stylistic devices and structures, plus teaching how to go about the short wring, text commentary and extended writing stretegies, I always try to organize the teaching plan around thematic units so that I can provide my sts with more solid arguments and more mature ideas to enrich their writing about specific topics. For IGCSE, they have a passage to rely on, in AS Paper 2, they do not. So, here my question, a question I ask myself every single year, how do I cover the possible topics they may be asked to write about? I usually cover /media and technology /travelling/studying abroad and many more, but I always feel I may not be covering all the topics they may have to write about and that they may not have the advanced vocabulary they need to express themselves when talking about certain topics. Of course, I know they can choose the task, and thus, dodge a topic they have no knowledge about. Yet, can anyone share a list of topics you typically cover for sts to have more ideas to write about and to give them vocabulary? I could use some advice on this. Thanks in advance.

When we are asked to produce a reflective commentary, are we supposed to comment only on the language and linguistic features or do we need to pay attention to the form and structure too ?
