Language frameworks - A-level English (CAIE/AICE)

Before researching A-level topics in more detail, you need an overview of language frameworks that will help you analyze language and understand the key concepts of linguistics.

This video covers phonetics and phonology, lexis, semantics, grammar, orthography and pragmatics and provides definitions of key terms related to these language frameworks. These key terms will be indispensable throughout your A-level studies and will provide an excellent basis for analyzing different texts in papers 3 and 4.

The video is primarily intended for A-level CAIE students, but can be of great use to anyone interested in language and linguistics.
