The average person is an idiot, meaning at least 50% are even dumber than that. There is a high ratio of people that don't even maintain the potential for rational decision making. Researching human psychology is one of the saddest things ever. The more you learn, the more you realize people either don't have the capacity to think or that their emotions make them so susceptible to group think, regardless of merit. My brain aches for stimulation from intellectuals, and makes this world feel lonesome as a result.
