My Uncle Al was a Staff Sergeant at Normandy in the Battle of the Bulge. Lived through it all and was discharged in 1945.

Love your project. Makes us relate a little more of what our families went through. Dad, now deceased, 82nd Airborne, nite dropped June 5, "to blow up the bridges so the 'gerries' couldn, t retreat" in Normandy. He was there by 18 months, so was an uncle; ages 20, 21. God bless and remember all who fought for our freedom. ❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

My great uncle was one of those that was thought to be killed, at the battle of the Bulge.
He moaned when he was picked up.
My mom says he was in pain until the day he died- decades after the war.
