Are you in the upper deck, what's the seat number and how much did you pay to Emirates to Christchurch? Are you flying from Dubai to Christchurch via Sydney or from Sydney to Christchurch? Is that your 1st time flying Emirates, Airbus A380 and how is it?

If this is for an a380, imagine a 737.

What i don't understand is that why do crews try to land under this conditions. The A 380 has a side wind limit of 60 km/h per hour. These gusts are much stronger. Why are they trying to land ? They have enough alternative airports. If they all have stormy conditions they must land en route somewhere. This here is dangerous.

The plane is completely fine. If anything else, the one who will be damaged is you, if you don't strap in. Haha. Hitting your head on the ceiling isn't fun.
