A.I. Plays Rachmaninoff Playing Himself (First Person View)

Audio piano roll recording of Rachmaninoff himself playing his famous Prelude, from 1919, reconstructed into 3d animation by our AI.
The AI extracted notes from the audio recording and generated the appropriate hand and body animation.
A virtual camera was attached to the virtual avatar's head, where it's movement is being driven by the AI, simulating eye gaze and anticipation.

I wanna see Rachmaninoff playing some massive Rachmaninoff chords with those gigantic hands. Like, the last chords of his prelude #24. He wrote those with no arpeggiation which is impossible with normal sized hands but apparently he could play them 🤯

In the beginning I really thought it was real but if you focus a little you will find the fingering is wrong and doesn’t look that real but it still amaze me how they could develop an A.I. like this

I made a new version of a concerto from him (the best v.) I wish I could use this to make it come alive visually. The camera wobbles a bit too much maybe wide the camera angle a bit.
