How To Change Your Name On Facebook

Need to change your name on Facebook? The easiest way to do this is by using the Facebook app. If you don’t have a Facebook app, you a download it on your phone from the App Store or Google Play store.

Go to Facebook settings and privacy on the Facebook app and click settings.

Click on personal information. Click on your name to change your first or last name on the next page. You can only do this once every 60 days.

And it’s that simple to change your name on Facebook.

This didn't work for me. Facebook must have changed it, because there is no personal and account info. tab. There is personal details but when I click on that it doesn't list a name option.

My freshman college son originally used his middle name as his last name when he set his account up 9 years ago. He is now almost 19 and wanted to change the name to his actual last name and they required him send in a video of his face at all angles and then still didn't change it. NONE of the articles I read require this kind of intrusion! I am super mad they even asked him to do that as well as the fact that he did do that and still wasn't able to change his name! The only thing I can think of was that although he was logged into his account he can't remember his password and is having a hard time retrieving it.

F...' community guidelines I only wanted to share a Newsfeed but it had my full name. It was two beautiful pictures of my golden retriever Brandy and my parents' gravesite at the Veterans Cemetery, as I wouldn't have the faintest idea how my full name started appearing as that, so I reversed out of FB definitely no so called social media? It's something for ones that doesn't have anything better to do; still I respect! Thanks
