Welcome to What if Ahsoka and Rex Escaped with Maul? In the Galactic City on Coruscant, the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, had just executed Order 66, sentencing all of the Jedi their deaths. Nowhere was this more apparent than aboard a Republic cruiser returning from Mandalore, as the 501st Legion turned upon the former Jedi padawan Ahsoka Tano. The padawan is somehow able to escape the initial flurry of attacks, freeing the captured Maul, who had himself been on the receiving end of separate orders from Sidious, and he managed to cause enough chaos with his dark side powers to find his way to the hangar. Meanwhile Ahsoka had managed to remove the inhibitor chip from her most trusted clone trooper Commander Rex, they try but fail to stop Maul from escaping in one of the last ships available. In the end, they take advantage of the ship burning in the atmosphere of the moon to find a Y-Wing bomber and escape, but the damage had been done as they were forced to live a life running from the chasing Empire. But what if Ahsoka and Rex had managed to escape on the first ship with Maul? Would their roles with the Rebellion be altered? As you will discover, their quicker escape could have changed all of their futures…
