How’s it sound if gated to bay or something on every step? Does it give a really quick choppy sound to the whole loop? Also, would a delay or whatever effect on the loop be cut by the gate as well or would the delay still play out when the loop is gated?

There’s literally loads of cool stuff this technique could be used for. Can’t wait to try out a few things. Thanks ;)

Can this be done on an MPC Live? When searching for "Gate" related to MPC, the results are all about Midi/CV Gate...does it have a different name on MPC or do you have to do other things to achieve this effect?
