Wow 2013 seems like yesterday, now the G and the Defender both fetch well over 20, 000 euro where I live in Sweden.
One of my dads friends swapped his old V70 diesel with like 450000kms on it for a Defender, that Defender now got sold for 24, 500 euro and the Volvo is probably worth 500 or at the junkyard at this point

The Land Rover dates from 1948. I think you'll find that most people were staggering back from WW2 in 1945. The Land Rover was actually a kind of British rip-off of the Willys Jeep which was very popular with US and Allied forces during WW2.
