Back in 1994-2000, our family lived in Southeast Alaska on Wrangell island. One night after the kids were in bed for about 30 minutes, my 6 year old daughter let out a shrill scream and came tearing into our bedroom! She was hysterical and she said a really tall hairy monster/man was staring at her through her window! We didn’t know what it could be. Our minds raced and tried to figure out what she thought she was seeing. My daughter has never been a storyteller or unbelievable when she stated something she saw or experienced. When we ran in there there was nothing there. The only thing we could imagine was a Sasquatch. Now my daughter is an adult with her own children. We live in Idaho where we’ve experienced some “things” causing us to believe these things are real. She recently stated to me-mom, I’m sure that the huge hairy monster man in Alaska that stared at me through my window was a Bigfoot. I totally agree. A terrifying thought now. My kids played outside all the time there. What danger were they exposed to? They are real…very, very real…and they are all over in many states…

Great stories tonight, as usual. I did notice inserts of pictures to illustrate scenes taking place, that I didn’t love, they didn’t fit. I have not seen you do that before. I love when you insert nature pictures and maps and such, but the stories you tell so well don’t need photos of different people in different locations to make the story, you do that with your gestures, facial expression and good old fashion campfire storytelling. But that’s just me. No criticism, just observation. Love this channel always❤

Cool, thanks Chris. Fancy that, finding a beer in the creek, lol! So the dog in the third story was very useful perhaps spooking off the BF. Something to remember as very useful to survival especially if camping alone. Chris be careful repeating going to places people have gone missing, be blessed and thanks.

Great stories, Chris, I always enjoy them. It keeps alive my own stories and encounters with Big Foot. I remember an encounter with my friend at her hourse in Aimes Oregon. It was so long ago that I had forgotten about it. This was back in 1983. It was late summer or early Fall. It was very warm in the house, but very cool outside. Back then the house sat very back far off the road with a very long half mile driveway up to the house. It sat on about 2 acres of land. Way back behind the house about 2000 yards plus away was all forest land. It was a very beutiful place. Her bedroom was in the upstairs, there was a balcony up there. We could put two camp cots up there.

Well on this particular night, the sky was clear, you could see the stars and the moon was full too. It was a perfect night to roll out sleeping bags onto the cots and sleep out on the balcony. The balcony was big enough for the two of us, with barely enough room to walk between the two cots. There was pretty rickty handrailing and wooden type round dowels that went all around the balcony. It was pretty old. NOT for really leaning on. Mostly for show at this point. It gave an illusion of security. My cot was on the outer part of the balcony, her cot was closest to the patio door. We went to bed well past midnight. WE could hear the crickets and night sounds. Even nearby owls hooting that were stationed nearby in their barn. Yes, they had a barn owl!

I have always had chronic insomnia. She dropped off to sleep fairly quickly, I did not. I kept looking at the darkened forest. It held interest to me. I do not know why. I knew that there were bears and coyotes in that forest and possibly a cougar. Aimes was out in the country and they had animals out in their Forested areas along with porcupines, raccoons, badgers and all kinds of critters. I guess I was hoping to see some of these critters come crawling around below, where I could see them safely from the height of the balcony. I had forgotten that my friends parents were below, in their bedroom sleeping, with their patio door wide open!! They had their screen door shut of course.

I remember waking up to a weird sound--looking at the forest--and seeing these eyes reflected in the moon light. It gave me a very strange feeling. The eyes glowing back at me, were actually at the tree line, but were too far off the ground to be a small critter, too big to be a bear or a cougar too. Round lumunous--and yellowish in the light reflected by the moon--sometimes almost redish/yellow. They did not seem like anything I had seen before, they moved, blacked out, moved, and blinked like someone was moving their head and looking back! Either this had to be an animal in a tree, or something pretty darn tall! I could not see a shadow of the animal or thing the glowing eyes belonged to either, the moon was not positioned such, with the trees to see this. I was so focuses that when the "sound" "howl" or "strange yowling" came from the direction of the eyes, I swear my body about jumped three feet off the cot with my sleeping bag. I felt the hair on my neck just stand straight up, and the hair on my arms was just standing straigh tup too. I was feeling pretty anxious--had not clue if whatever that was could reach ME on that balcony was friendly or foe. Then it hit me, oh crap, that is a big foot. BIGFOOT--at night! Looking at us! Looking at me!

I suddenly heard the glass door open, there stood my friends father, he had his shotgun in his hands, he whispered to me, and to his daughter, to get up quickly and get inside, to leave the cots and sleeping bags, and to hurry up!! He swiftly closed and locked the doors. He raced around and locked all the windows and doors. Drawing the curtains shut as well. He swiftly turned out all the lits. He told us to go to bed and be quiet. In the morning he told us that the closest neighbor had called and told him that it was a Big Foot, and to avoid "drawing it near the house, " to close all the windows and doors, and draw all the curtains, making no noises, and turn off all the lights. Otherwise it would come to investigate further and hang around. Sometimes they knock out windows. This startled me. I could not imagine a hairy arm coming through the windown at night. Now that would scare me into next year. As I always thought these things were shy, and in my childhood encounters, they were either in the background not showing themselves making some noise to make contact or they just observed us, without really making physically contact unless necessary. (as when my brother fell into the chest of a sqautting female, and she gently put him back on his feet again.) Anyway, I did not spend anymore nights on the balcony! That ONE night was enough. That is my only adult encounter with Big Foot. I had forgotten it. Funny how I just remembered it a few days ago watching one of your Video's Chris! I decided to document the story here. Hope that is okay with you and your other viewers! God Bless, Michelle Reed, Gresham Oregon USA.

I just have to say what I think is so amazing about Chris. See if you guys agree. First one. I love how he tells his stories. He's not really a believer of sorts. The way he tells his stories, you can see the compassion for the people telling the story. He never belittles, or poke fun of, nothing like that. His face just shows the concern, and empathy he has. The second one. I went back to some older videos that he has done. I have so much respect for him. If it feels unsafe, or to risky, he won't do it. I love that he has common sense, and uses it. I love that he won't do stupid crap, all for the likes, and the views. So many of the people on YouTube will do way stupid stuff to get it. Its just a breath of fresh air to watch someone smart and that cares about everybody.
