I had a short relationship like that many years ago. When I told my ex's mom he was hitting me she asked what I did wrong to deserve it. And when I turned him down in the bedroom I'd get this lecture about how a Christian wife should treat her husband. She told me I was fat ( I weighed 115 lbs at most) she would instruct her son on things I was allowed to do n not do. She made the rules and he listened. The one choice I had was to stay or leave, I got the hell out of there and met a real man and after 36 years we're still married and happy

I have 2 sons and I have never ever meddled in their marriage. I don't even visit them. But when they call me me complaining about their wives I let them know. You knew she was like that when you married her, and I leave it at that. I love my daughter's in law and I refuse to choose sides. What goes on in their marriage is none if my business.

This is giving me alot of second hand embarrassment what kind grown man reacts like that when seeing his mom acting as if he's still 6 years old that was so ridiculous clearly he's a Hugh mama's boy I'm a grown woman and I act childish when my mom comes home I don't run to my mother and shout mommy! Whole range of emotions during this!! Not going to lie, I was way more pissed at HIM than at his mom...at least at first. He's sick, so maybe that spurred him on to finally tell his mom how it was going to be. Glad his mom came around...that wife is amazing. The night before I'd have slapped my husband and walked out the way he was treating her!!! She has a huge heart!!!
