You do know, that in that scene, he was going through training and his trainer summoned a configuration. That was basically the sign, and it has a gravitational pull of the sun was not a green screen, just a configuration from Ryan Reynolds/hal Jordan‘s trainer.

Despite the CGI and everything else, I actually ended up enjoying the movie. I’m kind of bummed that they didn’t at least make one sequel the lanterns are very interesting we were supposed to get Sinestro.
