8-String Guitar Lesson 1: Bass String Triads (Drop E Tuning)

Here's my first in a series of lessons dealing with harmony and theory on 8-string guitar. This lessons covers major triad shapes on the lowest three strings, then I use the shapes in context for a I-vi-IV-V progression in C major.

I'll upload a new video lesson every couple of weeks. Next lesson will cover wide-voiced triads. In the future I'll be covering other chord shapes, scales and patterns that are unique to the 8-string.

What guage of string do you recommend for the Dropped E
