Don't forget, a nearby doorbell camera caught a cop admitting it was the wrong house.

The police investigated themselves and found no wrong doing of course

Having the right address with bad information is the same as having the wrong house. The Elyria Police need to make it right with the family period. Like you messed up, own up to it.

You can't flash nor bang without some chemicals - stupid statement by police department. How do those devices explode without some chemical interaction? The landlord told police the tenants are new in the last year. It is just unacceptable.

She spoke to the police, CPS and the DA at least 5 times to tell them he didn't live there.
They knew.

Don't say the raid was "controversial". That makes it sound like there was something beneficial about it.

Pizza delivery drivers can find the correct address, yet the police can't??? Absolute incompetence on their behalf!!!

So the police said no child was hurt, but a child was obviously hurt?

This leaves me curious if the baby had a reaction to the flashbang. Just because it does nothing to a healthy adult doesn't mean it wouldn't do something to a compromised baby. Looked up flashbang, which is apparently a pyrotechnic mixture known as flash powder, which is a combination of magnesium or aluminum powder and an oxidizer such as potassium perchlorate. Potassium perchlorate is on the hazardous substances list, and they did throw a flashbang right by the window where the baby was. It isn't much of a stretch to say the baby would have breathed something in. So yeah, based on a limited amount of research, they could be at fault (at least in my opinion, adding that I have no medical degree or background in hazardous substances).

Even if it _was_ "the right home", this is ridiculous for a teenager with a 'stolen firearm'.
This feels like some kind retaliation/intimidation?
This is the luxury of Qualified Immunity. You don't have to get it right; You just have to say you tried.

How about they stop acting like the kgb and knock on a door and wait for someone to answer. They also need to demilitarize their police department. Oh and fire that judge that signed that warrant and possibly jail. There are no poor follows just poor learders.

The cops were told numerous times this kid didn't live there before they illegally raided this home. The woman didn't know this kid.

The cycle will continue until cops and police departments are held criminally and financially responsible for their mistakes.

Ridiculous response from the police department about the grenades only emitting light and sound... How do they think light and sound are produced? It's a chemical reaction between metal oxidants and metal oxidizers.

End qualified immunity and militarized policing. They aren't acting as police as much as an occupying army.

The police statement: We investigated ourselves and found no wrong doing.
Citizens: what about the children you hurt that are in the hospital?

Police: That never happened!
Citizens: The kids are still in the hospital!
Police: NO, no they're not, that's a lie!

Unfortunately police can't tell the truth to save their own life.
Lying about injuring a baby shows how low they are.

Loud bang and flask were create by a rapid reaction of the chemicals, but they claimed " There was no chemical agents use."

An army of police for a search warrant ! Looks like overkill to me.
