My problem with the desert eagle is more from a real life one. Ammo scarcity, "harsh" recoil management and the high time requirements for keeping it well maintained are all things that push it to the back of my picks list.

Its somewhat big, the ammo isnt also as common as other pistol ammo, so its low on my pistol tier list. But its very fun to use and if you have some ammo and magazines its pretty good for mid game

Small correction: the Deagle has a 9 round magazine plus one in the chamber, making the total bullet count 10

Recoil makes this one of my 'meh' guns. I honestly prefer the FX-45 for stopping power with 15 rds and all the attachments

Would I use this gun in the apocalypse? Hell no. I would never have any ammo for it lol. But it’s amazing in this game

My homeboy the Deagle. A pocket cannon like its brother the revolver. Best all around for sure. Strong, silent, stylish, and good mag. Definitely will pick it up.

In the apocalypse, I wouldn't use something that is bulky as hell, only has either a 10 round .357 magnum mag or a 7 50AE, not to mention the fact that it's that loud even a suppressor can't do much to lessen the sound, I would rather have a lighter pistol like the Glock 17 or 1911, because ammo for those two firearms I just mention are alot more common and it can be much more concealable and with a suppressor it can dampen the noise much better

Returning to DayZ almost a decade after the mod, some of my first kills were with the Desert Eagle - before it got 'nerfed' so I heard...(?) idk. I think it still holds its own. Love it.

This is the weakest a deagle can chamber in. 44. Magnum and 50 AE only do even more damage, but in the game the deagle only shoot 357 magnum
