🕵🏻‍♂️ Don't search for problems that don't exist

👇🏼 What I mean by this is

🤔 You think mixing is about just finding problems

🤷🏻‍♂️ But let me tell you... Sometimes, there are no problems

🤝🏻 It's just a balance thing, or it could be some EQ here and there

🧐 I'd only make any changes to the sounds if it was really annoying me at that stage in the mix

🤨 If it's not annoying and it's blended in well with the rest of the mix...

I only mix the jello pudding powder with the milk

What I do is listen a couple times, take notes and do a mix sesion.
The nex day I'm mixing, I take notes and compare to the first ones, so I can know what needs to be improved.

Too right. Which is why I always got my students to do a basic blend and balance first, then just leave it and come back ten minutes later. And just listen to it. 👍

My problem is apple airpods!!! I can never get it to sound 100% clear in them😭
