I’m searching for human nature by Michael Jackson right now, I’m gonna crank it, I haven’t heard in at least a decade. Thanks for that and great video Mike.

I’ve got a boss katana 50, and the longer I’ve had it, the better it sounds. You pick up so many little quirks about it while using it, what it does well, what it doesn’t, etc. For those looking to spice up their tones, try and dial in your sound as close as possible with just the amp selector, volume / gain, and eq knobs, then add effects to taste.

Katana Artist combo has been my main amp for the last couple years, and it's just perfect. It just works, it works for any genre, it covers every base, I've never even connected it to a computer

I have two artist mk2 combos; the stereo link is fantastic. The mk2 head with a 2x12 (or 4x12 cab) by itself sounds great, probably better than just one of the combos. Great choice, congrats.

Have you checked out the distortion mod effects (all hidden in the studio), on top of crunch or brown? It can get real metal...

I would love to see a video on the Boss Nextone. I was on the fence about getting one, but I ended up with katana.

I love the Katana !! As a 2204/2061 marshall user of many decades, I never thought I'd fond a SS amp I like. But the Katana is it.

I've been a roadie years back, doing shows...and ran a sound and light company for a time. It is a job for the young and those with strong backs!

Moving PA cabinets is a lot of work, even with hand trucks and dollies. And you pray there arent any stairs! Oh, to hope for a freight elevator!!

It can wear you out quickly if you aren't careful. Careful is the watch word here. One slip up can ruin a rack of amps, a big speaker cabinet, the mixing board!! So you do not rush anything. That's why we show up at noon to set up...and finish tearing down and packing it all away by 3am or later...and then on the road to the next big...300 miles away.

What a great life. Live the music business.

Since the Katana came out, I've felt that a head and 2x12 would be my rig of choice for my next project. Inexpensive, great cleans, great with pedals in front of it and the modeling and configuration options just add a ton of great sounding tones and value. Cool video. Thanks.

I’m just here to share the love for @TheStudioRats. If you get into the Katana sphere, you need Paul in your life. Glad you already found them, Mike

Recently bought a katana bass amp for my 16 year old who has a weekly gig at a local church. He was using a 150 watt ampeg that he was borrowing which was ok. The katana is only 65 watts but it is louder and more full sounding. Add in all the other features and stuff and he’s really enjoying it.

I know they are well known with guitar players but their new bass amps are carrying on the tradition of quality stuff.

neato. getting 2 different, upgraded speakers will help give the stereo sound a bit more character too. you can even get an external A/B switch to allow you to turn one, or the other off, so you have 1x12. The best thing about the SS amps is that they work so well with other digital tech. Tubes always throw a bit of a hiccup in the process, even if they're fun. Cheers.

I Ordered one yesterday and it arrives on Tuesday cant wait for it to arrive ! got it at a decent price £579 it was the last one on Amazon. I already own the mk1 katana head and loved that, But the artist blew me away its the first solid state amp i've heard that to my ears emulates a valve amp pretty accurately, I own around 11 amps now some tube amps some solid state. And i'm now thinking of selling a lot of them on to create space. im a big Boss fan i have a large guitar size flight case pedal board full of boss pedals.

The boss Katana is the amp that made me give up being a tube snob. I absolutely love it and I use it every day for blues and rock and thrash metal.

I recently picked up the Artist head myself, and it's quickly becoming my one and only amp. There's really no end to the sounds
you can get out of it, especially that it takes pedals so well. My tube snob days just may be a thing of the past.
